    The celebration of 100 years of E Scow sailing culminates at the 2023 Nationals, held September 6-10, hosted by Mendota Yacht Club in Madison, WI. The regatta could be record-breaking for One-Design single-fleet racing, with over 120 boats registered. This may exceed the legendary 1999 E Scow Invitational when 130 boats raced as one group on Lake Mendota. The Class started their year-long celebration with a No Boat Regatta Ski Weekend last winter.     The 14th Clipper Round the World Yacht race will start from a line off Southsea Castle in Portsmouth, UK, on September 3, 2023. The 11 identical 70 foot yachts, manned with 24 crew aboard each, coming from 63 different nationalities, (105 sailors from the USA,) will sail to Cadiz in Spain then to Punta del Este in Uruguay on the first leg of their 40,000 mile circumnavigation of the world.
